Zagreb, July 30, 2015 – The Korean business delegation lead by H.E. Suh Hyung-won, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Zoran Horvat, President of the Croatian-Korean Business Club and Mr. Igor Zgrabljić, Secretary General of the Croatian-Korean Business Club visited Istria County, Split-Dalmatia County, Zadar County and the island Rab. The delegation was joined by Mr. Shim Dong-Sup, Ph.D., one of the most prominent lawyers in Korea, currently Head of Project Group in Law Firm Ungbin and former Director of Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Energy, along with Mr. InKyu Park, Vice President of the Korea Free Trade Agreement Industry Association and CEO of Ecplaza Global.
During their visit to Croatia the Korean business delegation met with the Istria County Prefect, Mr. Valter Flego, Split-Dalmatia Deputy County Prefect, Mr. Ante Šošić, Zadar Deputy County Prefect, Mr. Božidar Longin and the Mayor of Rab, Mr. Nikola Grgurić. During the meetings the delegation was presented with potential investments and other business opportunities between Croatia and Korea.
The visit of the Korean delegation to Croatia ended on the island Rab with the tour of the Psychiatric Hospital Rab as centre of excellence in the field of psychology. The delegation also participated at the opening of the famous summer medieval fair «Rapska fjera» along with the President of the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and other dignitaries from Croatia and abroad.
