The delegation of the Croatian-Korean Business Club, lead by the president Mr. Zoran Horvat and Secretary-General Mr. Igor Zgrabljić, has officially visited Korea from May 7-14, 2015. The visit of the Club’s delegation to Seoul, the South Korean capital started with the opening of the most important food and beverage fair in Asia, “Seoul Food 2015» which was attended by the Club members and representatives of the major Croatian food processing companies Agrokor, Kraš, Vindija and Badel 1862 which have jointly exhibited at the fair.
During the visit to Korea the Croatian-Korean Business Club delegation met many dignitaries as well as business people from Korea including Mr. Lee Dong-Geun, Executive Vice Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry who hosted an official visit to the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Ki-Jung Kim, Executive Vice-President of Samsung C&T Corporation and Mr. Seunghwa Yi, Senior Vice President of CJ Freshway, one of the leading conglomerates in Korea. The meetings were a great chance to discuss the potential projects of the Korean companies in Croatia and entrance of the Korean capital to Southeast Europe as well as the entrance of the Croatian companies on the Korean market.
The delegation of the Croatian-Korean Business Club was also kindly hosted by the Croatian Honorary Consul in Korea H.E. In-Mo Yang, a long-time adviser to the founder of the Samsung Group Mr. Lee Byung-chul and former director of Samsung Engineering and Croatian Ambassador to Japan H.E. Mira Martinec.
