Zagreb, October 20, 2015 – The opening of the Korea Film Week 2015 was held today at Tuškanac cinema. The opening was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Croatian Film Association. On this occasion the Embassy hosted a short gathering before the screening of the first movie Ode to My Father (2014.), directed by Youn Je-Kyun.
The Korea Film Week was organized on the initiative to familiarize the Croatian society with the Korean film art movie industry, which is as strong as Hollywood industry. The established production house CJ Entertainment signs all movies, which offer intelligent and first class entertainment that Croatians will appreciate.
The movies that will be screened are: Ode to My Father, 2014.; directed by Youn Je-kyun, Socialphobia, 2014.; directed by Hong Seok-jae, Salut d’amour, 2014.; directed by Kang Je-kyu, Miss Granny, 2013.; directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, The Night of the Prophet, 2014.; directed by Kim Sung-moo.
