Osijek, 11 September 2014 – With the opening of Korean cinema in Croatia, the representatives of the City, County and Cinemas Osijek were visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Croatia H.E. Hyung-won Suh, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Croatia, accompanied by Che Dongh-wan, Counselor and Deputy Head of Mission and Zoran Horvat, President of the Croatian-Korean Business Club who also participated in the opening of the festival.
The Mayor of Osijek-Baranja county Vladimir Šišljagić used the meeting with Korean Ambassador to express his hope that the economic cooperation between Osijek-Baranja County and Korea in the future will be much better.
During the tour, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Croatia H.E. Hyung-won Suh expressed his satisfaction that Osijek is hosting this Cinema festival and that is a good reason and an encouragement to maintain contact. H.E. Hyung-Won Suh, visited Osijek where he met with Mayor Ivan Penava and the Mayor of Vukovar-Srijem County Božo Galić.
