				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Zagreb, September 1, 2018</strong> &#8211; With traditional water greeting on Saturday, September 1, the first flight of South Korean air company Korean Air which now connects Zagreb and Seoul three times a week, was welcomed. Inauguration ceremony was attended by <strong>Jacques Feron</strong>, President of the International Airport of Zagreb, <strong>Byung-Ryool Park</strong>, manager of Korean Aira for Europe with associates, <strong>His Excellency Park Won-sup</strong> Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Croatia, <strong>His Excellency Damir Kušen</strong> Newly Appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic Korea, <strong>Olivera Šarić</strong>, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia, <strong>Martina Bienenfeld</strong>, Director of TZ Zagreb, <strong>Zoran Horvat</strong>, President of the Croatian-Korean Business Club, <strong>Luka Novosel</strong>, Member of the Board of Croatian-Korean Business Club and other guests.</p>
<p>Since its founding, the Croatian-Korean business club has been working intensively on improvement of relations between the two countries and has set up as one of the goals of its funding, a direct airline connection to improve economic relations. We are pleased to be able to contribute to this process and we are particularly proud of the fact that along with this flight, on October 24, 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Korea will be opened, which will also contribute significantly to the economic relation between the two countries. An additional direct airline between Seoul and Zagreb contributes to a much better relation between Croatia and Asia.</p>
<p>Ambassador Park Won-sup also highlighted the emotional moment of the KoreanAir landing in Zagreb as well as the desire for the success of this line in building stronger ties between Croatia and the Republic of Korea. Ambassador Damir Kušen thanked everyone involved in the realization of this flight and expressed the pleasure that he will be able to go to his new job by direct flight from Zagreb. Byung-Ryool Park, the Korean Aira leader for Europe, said he is pleased to introduce the first regular line to Croatia, the Southeast European country with extremely fast tourist growth and also said that is will be the bridge between Croatia and Korea which will contribute to the additional growth of economic and tourist cooperation.</p>

<p>Memorandum was signed by <strong>Mrs. Martina Kovačić</strong>, Director of the Salve Regina-Marija Bistrica and<strong> Mr. Zoran Horvat,</strong> President of the Croatian-Korean Business Club.</p>
<p>The Signing Ceremony was witnessed by the host H.E.Ambassador Park, H.E Ambassador Damir Kušen, newly appointed first Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Republic Korea, Mr.Lee, Dong-hee, Consul and Attache of Economy</p>
<p>,Mr. Jako Andabak, president of the Supervisory Bord of Sunce Koncern, Mr. Tonči Boras, president of the Management Board of Sunce Koncern, Mr. Hrvoje Buntak and Mr. Luka Novosel, founding members of CKBC.</p>
<p>Salve Regina-Marija Bistrica owns and manages Hotel Kaj in Marija Bistrica, the corner stone of tourist industry in the region and welcomes a significant number of Korean tourist that visits hotel and Maria Bistrica. With this partnership CKBC and Salve Regina are working on development of tourist and business ties between Republic of Korea and Republic of Croatia.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Krapina, October 24, 2017</strong> &#8211; The visit of H.E.Park Won-sup, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Croatia and Mr.Lee, Dong-hee, Consul and Attache of Economy to Krapina, the capital of Krapina-Zagorje County, on October 24th 2017, was organized by Croatian-Korean Business Club ( CKBC ) on the occasion of the Signing Ceremony of the membership of Presečki Grupa d.o.o. in CKBC.</p>
<p>The possibilities for a business collaboration between Presečki Grupa and Hyundai Motors Co. as well as Presečki Travel Agency with the leading Korean travel agencies were discussed.<br />
Prof.Dr.Antun Presečki expressed the interest for a visit to Korea during early 2018 for the meetings with potential Korean partners.<br />
In continuation the delegation visited a recently opened Oldtimer Museum Presečki, which has a most representative collection of the oldtimer models of cars and motorcycles in Croatia.<br />
Mr.Zoran Gregurević, Mayor, held a reception for H.E.Ambassdaor Park and the members of delegation in the City Hall of Krapina, where the development projects of the City of Krapina were presented.</p>
<p>The official part of the programme was concluded with a visit to Krapina Neanderthal Museum, which represents one of the biggest tourist attractions not only in Croatia but also in the whole CEE region, followed by a lunch served to the members of delegation in the private residence of Prof.Dr.Antun Presečki in a pictoresque area in the outskirts of Krapina.</p>

<p>In his introductory speech, <strong>H.E</strong>.<strong> Ambassador Park Won-Sup</strong> said he believes that the Croatian-Korean Business Club is the most important private institution of Croatian and Korean relationship, and thanked the founders for their continuous efforts in improving the collaboration between the two countries over the past three years. He finished saying that the full potential of the collaboration between two countries yet needs to be achieved, especially after the forthcoming opening of the Croatian Embassy in Korea scheduled for the end of the year. President of the Croatian-Korean Business Club <strong>Zoran Horvat</strong> highlighted the long term friendly relationship between Croatia and Korea, and thanked the members and friends of the Club for their trust with the promise that the Club will continue to create opportunities for business collaboration between Croatian and Korean companies, whose number in the Club increases continuously. On this occasion, the President of the Croatian Parliament, academician <strong>Željko Reiner</strong>, pointed out how the long-term friendly relationship between Croatia and Korea is constantly evolving. He emphasised the importance of intense development of relationship between the two countries in all fields of human activities, especially in science, culture and economy. Minister of Labour and Pension System, <strong>Marko Pavić </strong>found that the current activities of the Croatian-Korean Business Club were especially important for the development of collaboration between the countries, and expressed his desire for this collaboration to continue especially in the fields of science, business development, innovation and knowledge exchange, for which Korea is worldwide well known.</p>
